How to Measure for Bracelets/Chokers
by Elva ... Leather By Elva
1. Measure your wrist or neck with a flexible measuring tape. If you don't don’t have one, you can use a ribbon, piece of string or strip of paper and a yardstick or ruler.
Mark the point where the string overlaps.
2. Calculate the size in inches by laying the string beside the yardstick or ruler to measure it.
3. Add 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch to the measurement -- especially to the paracord/survivor bracelets because the fabric will not stretch.
4. Tell me this measurement.. I will take it from there. When I make your bracelet or necklace, I will make all necessary adjustments for the buckle or the bead. Different buckles vary in size, so don't try to caculate this yourself.
